The evening begins with the refreshing Uchi Salad, featuring Asian pear vinaigrette, radish, wonton strips, and cilantro. Next, savor the Bao Acadiana, a bao bun stuffed with fried pepperjack boudin and topped with Mardi Gras slaw.
The third course, Hog Head Cheese Fried Rice, brings a unique blend of flavors with hog head cheese, rice, chili oil, and scallion. For the fourth course, choose your perfect bowl of ramen from four options:
Thomas St Tonkatsu – Rich benteaux broth with chashu pork or Gochujang chicken, ramen noodles, and green onion.
Hunter’s Ramen – A savory bowl with mushroom-soy egg, kikurage, spicy chicken soy sauce, and your choice of chashu pork or Gochujang chicken.
Miso Good – A comforting house miso broth with miso charred corn, ramen noodles, and chashu pork or Gochujang chicken.
Miso Supa Hot – A fiery option with spicy miso broth, pepper paste, kikurage, and mushroom-soy egg.
End the meal with the decadent Matcha Crème Brûlée, a perfect fusion of tradition and innovation. Elevate your dining experience with our expertly crafted drink pairings, designed to complement each course of the Cajun-Asian fusion tasting dinner. Begin with the C'ajun Pear Spritz, a refreshing blend of sparkling wine, fresh Asian pear juice, lemon, local honey, and rosemary, perfectly matched with the crisp Uchi Salad.
The second course is paired with the tropical Typhoon NOLA, featuring Thai rum, fresh orange juice, passionfruit, lime, and grenadine, adding vibrant notes to the bold flavors of the Bao Acadiana. Next, the flavorful Hog Head Cheese Fried Rice is enhanced by the sweet and tart Raspberry Soju Sour, made with soju, house-made raspberry syrup, and lemon-lime soda.
